Here are some of the most common questions, however I understand every booking is so unique so I'd be happy to answer any other questions your have!
Is there a booking minimum?
For bridal bookings, the booking minimum is 4 services and for non-bridal bookings, the minimum is 6 services. One person for hair or makeup counts as one service. Depending on availability, there may be exceptions to this!
How far do you travel?
I'd be happy to travel anywhere nationwide depending on the booking. For some bookings. travel accommodation such as hotels, and/or flights may be required, this would be decided on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer group discounts or multiple booking discounts?
At the moment I do not offer any discounts. My goal is to provide quality services using the best of products and these rates help me do that. I've made sure to keep my pricing very competitive based on the years of experience and knowledge I bring.
Do I need to provide any products?
No, I come full equipped for all products needed to create the makeup and hair look with the exception of the client providing their own hair extensions if desired.
What if I need more than one artist?
Having additional artists is really helpful when you want to cut down on time, especially when you have more than 3 people for hair and makeup plus an early ready time. Non-bridal services are booked for 45 minute increments and bridals are booked for 75-90 minute increments. You may hire another artist on your own but if you'd like for me to hire out of my network of artists, there is an additional $75 fee per artist to cover costs associated with sourcing, contracts, and management. There is a minimum of 4 services required for each additional artist.
Why does bridal makeup and hairstyling cost more than non-bridal?
Bridal looks not only take more time but also require different techniques and products so the outcome is more high definition than non-bridal. Whether you want to be a more natural bride or full-glam, that bridal application and styling process is the same. As a bride, you're stressed and anxious, my job is continue to work on the look until you're 100% happy with it. Your expectations of me (rightfully so!) will be higher than anyone booking a non-bridal service.
What brand of products do you use?
I always want the best for my clients so I love investing in high end and luxury brands for my makeup and hair kit. I do carry a diverse range of products that work on different skin tones and types. These products help me create looks that can be very natural to full glam.
